Dead End is officially finished!!! Of course I’m sure a bug or two will pop up between now and release. Next I have to get screenshots and other market stuff done but that won’t take too long.
Now I just have to decide when that release will be. Originally I was planning on next week because I will be out of town for a few days this weekend. Of course I still have 3 days until then and plenty of time to fix any bugs that come from the release. Plus, if the game doesn’t completely fail, it’ll make vacation all that much better. If the game does completely fail, then I can use vacation to get my mind off of it. Releasing today is looking like the better option. Stay tuned!

Hi, I’ve just completed the demo and I really enjoyed the game. I will be purchasing the full version. I would like to give some feedback:-
1. I didn’t like the tilt controls, they worked ok on the first level but after that I found them hard to use so I switched to the touch controls, which I realy liked.
2. Sometimes my gun wouldn’t work, I thought this was a bug until I realised my gun was reloading, maybe this should be a bit easier to notice?
3. When using the touch controls on the later levels, when zombies are coming at you from all directions I accidently pressed reload or pause several times. Could the pause button work from one of the phone buttons?
3. After installing the music the game seemed to stop working until I unstalled it, not sure if they was the game or my phone.
4. It would have been great if there was a section explaining how to play the game, what the controls are, options, buttons etc.
5. I was playing on a Samsumg Galaxy S there was no lag or slow play, it worked fine.

Andrew,
Glad you liked the game! It’s been a little nerve wracking waiting to see if people will enjoy it or not.
1. Have you played around with the tilt calibrating in the options menu? I was going to use the dual stick controls that a lot of top-down games have but the Motorola Droid (which i do my development on) has multi-touch issues. So I had to figure something else out. At least the touch controls work for you though.
2. I could make something else show on the screen besides the reloading progress bar. I’ll add that to my update list.
3. Maybe I’ll make an option to disable the on-screen pause and use the menu button instead. I like the tilt controls when I play so the pause button doesn’t get in the way for me but I can see how that’d happen with the touch controls.
3.1. I’ll have to look into the music. Do you have an SD card installed?
4. There should be a “How to Play” link when starting a new game. This goes through the controls and everything.
5. Good to hear it works on your phone. Didn’t test it on there so that’s another that I know it works on.
Thanks for your feedback!
